Max Gilletz personally edits every cohort-1 dispatch. Once cohort 2 onboards, a copy editor is added to the masthead — name will appear here.
Fact-checking
Each dispatch is fact-checked against the writer's offer letter, internship dates, and a written attestation that no NDA-covered material is included. Specifics that fail the check are redacted into category framing or removed.
Legal review
Pre-publish review for defamation, NDA scope, and trademark fair use. External counsel is retained on retainer pre-launch.

2. Cohort 1 writers

Founding-cohort writer names appear here as contracts close. Stringer holds the legal name + offer letter on file for every published writer. Readers see role + team + company in the byline. The full list will appear before the July 21, 2026 launch.

4. Editorial standards

  • Sources: Every dispatch is first-person from a verified writer. We do not publish anonymous or aggregated content as if it were one writer's experience.
  • Confidentiality: Writers warrant in their contract that nothing in their dispatch is covered by their employment NDA. We edit for confidential tells, redact named coworkers, and strip unreleased product detail.
  • Compensation: Stringer pays writers from reader subscription revenue only. We do not accept payment from companies covered, ad placements from any party, or sponsored content.
  • Conflicts: If a writer has a personal financial conflict (consulting work, a competing employer offer, etc.) it is disclosed in the dispatch byline.
  • AI: Every dispatch is human-written. Writers sign an "I am human, this is mine" attestation. AI tools may be used for spell-check or grammar but never for content generation.

5. Ownership

Stringer Media Inc. is the publisher. Max Gilletz is the founder and sole shareholder pre-launch. No outside investors. The writer cohort holds equity stakes per the founding-cohort agreement (terms in writer contract).
